We’ve been getting a little elfish here at Curvissa HQ, becoming more and more giddy about all the Christmas spirit – has the festive cheer rubbed off on you yet?! You might have seen on our Facebook page that we’ve been asking you lovely lot to post your favourite Christmas recipes to our wall – so if you’ve submitted, thanks! It’s been a tough job looking through all these scrummy recipes (someone’s got to do it!), and we wanted to share with you a few of our favourite recipes so far…

 

Easy Peasy Canapes  – Lisa from London

Great for an appetiser to serve your guests as they arrive…

Ingredients

  • Readymade puff pastry
  • Goats Cheese
  • Caramelised red onion
  • Smoked salmon
  • Cream cheese
  • Dill or cherry tomato, pesto and basil

Cut the pastry into little squares and bake with a selection of the ingredients above (all except the salmon one) and voila! They are easy to make, cheap and look gorgeous!

 

Fancy Sage and Onion Stuffing – Kayleigh from Bolsover

Spice up your stuffing this year with this scrummy recipe:

Ingredients

  • 2 cups breadcrumbs
  • 1 diced onion
  • 1 peeled and diced apple
  • 4 rashers of smoked bacon cooked in maple syrup and diced
  • 2 tablespoons of sage
  • 2 tablespoons of tarragon
  • 2 tablespoons of garlic
  • 1 pint of chicken stock

Mix together all the ingredients and place in a buttered tin. Bake in the oven until the top is crispy – delicious!

Take your candy canes and crush in a bowl. Sprinkle them on any treat you desire, from hot chocolate to biscuits and fudge, for a truly special Christmas flavour.
