Today we’re talking about some great styling tips that will help you dress your shape the best…

Shape Calculator

RECTANGLE

So, you’ve been on our shape calculator, worked out your measurements and it’s been revealed that you’re rocking a rectangle shape. Lucky you! Your figure is gorgeous and balanced; a straight silhouette with even proportions.

Give yourself killer curves with a scooped neckline top or a structured jacket with a belt that will nip you in at the waist. You’re also in a great position to get away with exaggerated patterns, striking designs and detailing will all work in your favour to create some shape to your figure – which works well because animal print and geometric designs are big styles for the season.

INVERTED TRIANGLE

Narrow hips and slender legs that seem endless? Hello gorgeous inverted triangle. It’s a figure type commonly associated with models so how do you capture that runway appeal?

Floaty and tulip style skirts are perfect for creating a shapely figure on your bottom half, whilst low v-necks will take the eyes vertically down your body, creating a narrow silhouette. Layering is also a great way to achieve a balanced figure – perfect for this bipolar weather we’ve been having.

PEAR SHAPED

If you’ve come out as owning a pear shaped bod then you’re one of the few ladies who can claim feminine curves and hips with a slim torso too – what more could you want?

Large collars, detailing around the neckline and prominent accessories are all good choices for pear shaped senoritas as they’ll help balance out your hip to chest ratio. Emphasise your slender shoulders with strapless dresses – the maxi dress is your summer saviour.

HOURGLASS

If your shape cuts a small waist with larger bust and hips then shout it from the rooftops as your figure is one of the most desirable shapes going. The hourglass is synonymous with sex appeal, style and celebs like Kelly Brook and Christina Hendricks.

Fitted tops will help sculpt your shape and draw attention to your finest assets. Puff sleeves on tops and jackets will add structure to your shoulders and help balance out your shape perfectly. Pencil skirts will look phenomenal with a tucked in fitted shirt for the office.

Whatever your shape we’re confident that we can dress you to the highest style standard this season. What do you think?!
