That’s why for today’s blog, we’re chatting all things workwear, and the pieces we’ll be buying to make Monday mornings a little bit more exciting for AW17.
The Work Coat
A glamorous coat can take every outfit from ‘yawn’ to ‘wow’ and this October, we’ll be buying this gorgeous houndstooth wrap coat with contrast collar. Coats with tie belts are super flattering, as they really nip in your waist. Grey is an excellent shade to plump for too – it works with everything from black to brown to beige. Team with tailored trousers or a sweet shift dress to make cold mornings extra stylish.
The Easy to Wear Work Dress
Every woman needs a great work dress in her wardrobe – the kind that you can just throw on, but also look like you’ve made an effort. This winter, our pick is this check dress. We love the statement print, Peter Pan collar and ¾ length sleeves. It looks great with thick black tights and heels, or go for a more on-trend look with cool brogues.
The Wear with Anything Trousers
A great fitting pair of black trousers will be your workwear wardrobe hero. This pair arrives on-trend shape, but with their super stretchy material and elasticated waist, they’re really comfortable too. They look great with smart shirts and blouses, or try them with a slogan tee and a blazer for an edgy look.
